Been a little while... hasn't it?

...It's sad, but let's not pretend that things are really all that different, even now.

That is to say... I know you can't respond.

...Just taking a moment to remind you, that despite everything, I haven't forgotten.

I know that was one of your fears going into this... frankly, I was afraid of it too.

You know me, my memory isn't all that great.

It was an affliction we both shared... I hope you have found some way to cope with that.

And despite me wanting to hang on to those that I care about... everything fades eventually.

But, as much as is within my power, I will NOT forget.

I have left behind many things to prevent such.

Hell, this very page is one of them.

...You were one of them.

It made me sad to remember, but just let it go to show... you mattered to me.

To me, and many others.

So even if some forget... the ones closest to you will not.

As much as I can muster, I won't.
